FLAVOUR:
Styrian Golding hops have a peppery spice with an earthy/sweet edge. Styrian Golding, also known as Styrian Celeia, is one of the world's most renowned hop variety due to its special aroma characteristics and great alpha values. It is used both in ale and lager brewing. Raw hops produce very pleasant and noble herbal, floral and citrusy aroma while on the other side offer charming bitterness. This aroma hop has a widespread usage both in big and craft breweries and it is commonly used as an aroma agent in beer. It is also very suitable for dry hopping.

HISTORY:
Styrian Golding is an aroma hop that is typically used in only late boil additions, including dry hopping. Very popular in Belgian Trappist and Monastery beers and an integral component some English pale ales and amber ales like Timothy Taylor's Landlord and Boltmaker. Styrian Golding hops have a peppery spice with an earthy/sweet edge. It also referred to as Savinjski Golding or Styrian Celeia

GROWTH/YIELD:
Styrian Golding is used in many styles of English and Belgian ales and is sought after for the noble qualities it brings to the brew. It grows in NZ disease free, flowers late and is picked late in March. It has medium sized compact cones that are ready for harvesting mid-season.
